Christopher Cawley (Owner of antiques gallery Christopher Cawley in New York) has been collecting antiques since his grandfather began taking him to flea markets around Philadelphia as a child. Soon his hobby became an obsession, and he eventually filled up a barn at his family’s home with hundreds of artworks, decorative objects, and furniture pieces.

Curator and gallerist, owner of TIWA Select, used to be an editor at publications such as Wallpaper*, NOWNESS and Dazed, but when he moved to Northern California he was inspired by the type of art made by artists who were in touch with nature, just like Tieghi-Walker himself, he impulsively opened up a gallery to represent these artist who didn’t have a place to show their art.

In 2019 designer Rose Hermansen and architect Caroline Sillesen founded Atelier Axo - an atelier specializing in small-scale architecture and interior design alongside objects and furniture. We recently caught up with the girls, talking about everything from which country they believe has the best interior design and architecture to how they decorate their own homes.
